Today thru Friday, KMETC is a featured merchant on AmazonLocal. We are offering 3 Level I classes or the 5-week course at a deep discount. The phone has been ringing all morning with questions so we thought we would post a couple FAQ's right here:
1. Do you have to have a background in Krav Maga or martial arts to be successful in the course?
Individuals of all fitness levels are encouraged to attend. You do NOT need a background in martial arts. The Level I classes are a great starting point for new students. The 5-week course is designed as an introduction to the principals of Krav Maga and is perfect for the new student or a returning student who needs a refresher.
2. Can you purchase the 3 Level I classes and apply it towards the "Women Only" class on Thursday nights?
Yes.
3. How do I redeem my AmazonLocal deal?
The schedule of Level I classes can be found on the "Schedule" page on our website. Dates for the 5-week course will be listed on the "Events" page and additional dates will be added quarterly. Please call us at 425.736.6019 to reserve a spot in your desired class. The number of new students in each Level I class is limited to keep the class fluid and to give each new student the attention they require. The 5-week course requires registration.

Due to instructor training, we will have an abbreviated schedule for the week of February 19. There will be no classes at 12:30 p.m., no classes at 4:30 p.m. and no classes on Saturday, February 25. Regular schedule will resume the week of February 27. Check back for updates on our travel and training with Krav Maga Worldwide, Los Angeles.
Came across this article by Lindsay Larin from 2008. Lindsay signed up to write an article and ended up training with us for several more months. We've already started planning for this April which is the annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Classes will be available thru BrownPaperTickets. Oh...and the phone number in the article is incorrect. Email me if you need more information or check our "Events" page.
